Student Gifts/ Chrismas fun/Giveaway

Don't forget to enter my giveaway, it ends on Saturday. This is the PERFECT season for earmuffs and these are the cutest you can find.
In my classroom we have been getting into the Christmas spirit by making Christmas trees. Each student used a Ice Cream cone and slathered it with green frosting. They decorated it with candy and Twizzlers to make it look like a real Christmas tree. They turned out so cute!

Every year we talk about different cultures in our classroom. For our classroom gift we have the students make shoes. We staple them together and in the middle we use a student milk carton to put little trinkets in for the students. We hide their shoes around the classroom and they have to find their shoe that they decorated with their treats inside.

How do you celebrate the Holidays?

Capo&Stubs GIVEAWAY!!

One of my besties from college and her BFF have started a business called Capo&Stubs on Etsy. They make the CUTEST earmuffs. They're completely handmade and so fun. Capo&Stubs have been so generous, they're going to giveaway their darling Penny the penguin earmuffs to one of you. I'm also going to let the winner choose any packet from my TPT Store. 4 super easy entries. The first entry you can do everyday. :)
Won't these earmuffs be perfect for this winter season?

These earmuffs are super comfortable because they have the faux fur lining the goes up against your ears. They will fit pretty much any age, They've had 1 1/2 year olds wear them. They are compact and adjustable.

Bee Craftivity

I know it's December and bees are probably not on your mind. But I thought I would share a bee craft that we do in our classroom each year. Our classroom is decorated with bees so these hang on our clips all year long. I know it doesn't work for December but you can pin it for later.
First you start with a chubby water bottle. We wrapped them in tape paper. Then we used yellow and black tissue paper to cover the bee and lots of modge podge.Or watered down Elmers glue. Some of the students made yellow faces. Others made black faces. They need to dry for at least 24 hours. Then we added googly eyes. and an antenna.

I have to give full credit to Shelley D.  for this idea. She is so crafty!
