Okay so I am linking up with Mrs. Stanfords blog I have a few pet peeves but by far my biggest blog pet peeve is ..... I don't want to offend anyone but I hate blogs that all they are advertising is their TPT products that I can buy. Come on where are the ideas?? I want to see what you're doing in your classroom. I know it is hard to make TPT products but once in a while I would like to see some free stuff or ideas. Remember we are all teachers and I dont' know about you. But I make squat diddly daw and honestly I don't have a lot of mulah to buy those things. So there you have it?? I hope I didn't offend anyone too much :). |

I'm glad I found your blog. I'm teaching 2nd grade next year and I love bees!
ReplyDeleteMiss Nelson's blog
You didn't offend me at all - I don't have many blogger pet peeves...I figure we're all individuals and how we choose to be on our blogs is ... well, individual. BUT - I have to agree with you. It does bother me a bit when people only post products and that's about it. Bums me out because it doesn't allow for me to get to know them as individuals...and I'm a "people person"!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove our blog!!!!

Found you through the link up. :o)
ReplyDeleteThe blogs that I like the most are the ones who give me peeks into their real lives.
The Paper Maid
Thanks for linking up and giving me a new blog to follow!!
ReplyDeleteI agree seeing too many products is a turnoff!! I think I mostly like to see things that are going on in rooms and maybe at the end showing me the product they used in those activities :)

I feel a little bad... I don't mind if you make TPT products and advertise them on your blog. I have also made TPT products and adverstised them on my blog. I just don't think a whole blog should be TPT products and nothing else. Miss Nelson I teach second grade in Utah. But with the Common Core. I'm sure we will all be doing the same stuff now. Right?? Thanks so much everyone for following me!!
ReplyDeleteI try to keep my things balanced between free and paid. The reason I have the paid items is so I can buy more things for my classroom. Nothing I make goes to me personally but all back to my students. I feel like that is a good investment but there are those that charge for their own personal gain and I do not like it. I feel like we should be collaborating and supporting each other. GREAT POST!!

I just found your cute blog! I think I should join up on the pet peeve list.
ReplyDeleteI DO love seeing pictures of people's classrooms - a virtual tour. I get to move into a new classroom this year & I can't wait to take pics to share.
Stop by sometime.
