Two Truths and a Lie Linky party

I'm linking up with Flying into First Grade for her fun linky, two truths and a lie.

So here are mine:
1. I had chicken pox so bad I had to be hospitalized.
2. I stepped on a needle and had to have it surgically removed.
3. When I was almost 6 months pregnant I had a baby that survived.

In the comments leave which one you think is a lie. I'm excited to see what you think. Go link up too, if you haven't already!

I've been boo-ed!

I've been boo-ed by Granny Goes to School I think this will be a fun linky party. Thanks for thinking of me :)

Here are the rules.................................................................
Here is my Halloween Share list: First off have you seen these darling free printables if you want to boo a neighbor or maybe another class? I found this darling printable at :tiffcreativeoutlet.blogspot.com http://tiffcreativeoutlet.blogspot.com/search/label/Halloween I am going to start boo-ing classrooms at my school tomorrow. This is the cute sign I'm going to put on their door:
Then I'm going to attach this to a bag of candy. I made these instructions so if you want to grab a copy go for it: HERE

I can't take credit for this next idea. I teach part-time and the lady I job share with well she came up with this darling idea. She has the students make black cats and they use dum dums for the eyes. Then on the outside of the pumpkin they write a joke and then you pull the stem and the answer is inside. These were a big hit at parent teacher conferences tonight. All of the parents wanted to see their child's and read their joke. Too cute!!

I'm passing the BOO onto these other great bloggers, so be sure to stop by for their Halloween goodies and great ideas.
Mrs. Goodwin at ilive2learnilove2grow
Kelley at Buggy for Second Grade
If you would like to grab this mini-unit for free you can. I just put it on TPT. You can grab it HERE

Teaching with Style

I can't believe I'm actually blogging my outfits. This isn't anything spectacular but here is what I wore to parent teacher conference today. I never had any idea how hard it is to take a picture of yourself in the mirror. I feel like such a DORK!!  But I couldn't miss linking up with Mrs. Prince teaching with style. I have always been a girl who LOVES clothes. In fact I got in trouble in JR. High for watching what everyone was wearing instead of focusing on grades. WHOOOPS!! Now I have a daughter and I love dressing her. I feel like I'm playing barbies all over again.
Skirt and necklace from DownEast. I love DownEast for teacher clothes. Top from Bella Me. I love Bella ME it is my all time favorite store. They have the cutest clothes. They have a Facebook page you should check it out. Shoes from Dillards. Do you know about their after Christmas sale? I got these shoes for 10.00 regularly 50.00. It is the best sale EVER. I go every year and buy about five pairs of shoes. Mark it on your calendar right now, so you won't forget. It's on mine :). Don't mind the Halloween washcloth in the background. Don't you love when you notice things in the background after you have taken the picture.
what is up with my double chin? NOT A GOOD ANGLE!

You should link up too. She is giving away 2 free products to her store. I thought it was worth just linking up for that!

Freebie Friday!!!

I'm so excited to share this birthday freebie with you. This is how I celebrate birthdays in my classroom. For this birthday activity, you have two options: first you could print page 2 and have the birthday child cut it out. Or option 2, you could have the birthday child cut out page 3 and color it to their liking. Page 4 are sparkle statements. I place one strip on each child’s desk. They have to write a sparkle statement to that child on their birthday. I tell the kids I don’t want them to write Suzy is nice. I want them to think of good qualities about that specific child. We usually have a lesson before. Then when they are finished with their sparkle statement they bring it to my back table. I usually do this first thing in the morning. I make the strips into a chain. I attach the chain to the picture of the cake. If your going to print this off. I would suggest using card stock because it's flimsy without. :). My students have always loved this activity. If you want  to grab a copy of this click on the picture!

If your looking for some more FREEBIES check out my TPT Store. I have a lot of them!!

My cutie N he didn't really like being the example but he was a good sport.
Check out Falling Into First to link up with your birthday ideas.

Back to School Jitters Linky Party

I'm linking up with A Turn To Learn on  Jitters. Oh how I feel like the summer just flies by. It makes me sad. I have two children and I feel like you only get about 18 summers with them. Now another one is gone. I try to spend so much time with them during the summer because I feel like the school year is so busy and your running from one place to the next. It makes me sad to think one more summer gone.

Currently

I'm linking up with Farley at Oh' Boy Fourth Grade
Currently I'm......

I'm loving May books. I ordered the calendars. I found them off of Mrs. V's busy bees and I bought two. Groupon is having a great deal on these right now. You can order two for 25.00. If you ordered two off of  their site it would cost you about 40. 00. They 're so cute and you can personalize them. I ordered them as a gift for a couple of my teacher friends. Farley they do have MUSTACHE ONES. They are super cute and I thought of you!

Washi Tape who doesn't LOVE all the CUTE colors!! The endless possibilities!!

I can't wait to use my crayon sharpener. All the crayons go so dull in my room by  November so this will keep them sharp all year!! YIPPEE!!
