November Currently

First off I have to say how deeply saddened I am for those living back East. I can't imagine what you're going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Are you so ready for the weekend? I sure am! I'm so glad it's Friday and tomorrow I get to SLEEP IN.  This week has been exhausting especially with Halloween falling on a Wednesday. Can we just move Halloween to the last Friday of the month? It would be so much easier on the kids( and teachers :)). My kiddos were higher than a kite on the day after Halloween. I couldn't believe it.

I'm linking up with Farley on her November Currently:

I just had to add this AWE SHUCKS... Lately I am really trying to find balance between my job and family. Sometimes I feel like I'm missing out on my kids lives and they're growing up so fast. I know this isn't teacher related but sometimes it's alright right? I promised to post pictures of my little ones on Halloween.

This is my Miss Sass....

This is my Frankenstein sweet heart.

  1. Your kiddos are adorable...and scary :)
I love listening to my kids conversations (when they are being nice to each other).
I am reading a couple teacher books. No suggestions for any 'pleasure books'.

  3. OMG! Your kids are SO cute! My heart is melting! I am reading the Game of Thrones series and I am obsessed! I actually watched the first episode of the first season and I was hooked! So, I starting reading instead and I am so glad I did (but suggest you watch the first episode for some great visuals). I'm on the third book and can't put it down. . . except when I blog. Ha!

  6. Haha, my loving was that I could sleep in today, too! This time of year is exhausting. Your kids look like they had a great Halloween! Adorable. If you like Historical Fiction, I've heard 'The Book Thief' is excellent. It's on my shelf for when I finish Emily Giffin's latest, "Where We Belong".

Happy weekend! Hope you can squeeze some relaxing family time in there. :)

  9. Your kids are adorable! Mine are all teenagers now and I miss that silly talking/laughing that little ones do! I feel your pain about weekends too...this is the first one in about a month and a half that I've actually slept in and done nothing! Hope you can get a do-nothing weekend soon! I'm also your newest follower. I'd love it if you'd drop by my blog too.

  10. What cute kiddos you have!! :)

When I worked as a summer camp counselor I took like 5-10 minutes and just wrote down everything this one kid was saying - and it was soooo funny! But I could never remember them all because there was too many. So, write them down!

I actually didn't end up sleeping in today and instead woke up at my "normal" time. Hoping this means it will feel like I'm sleeping in tomorrow!

  11. Your kiddos are super CUTE!!! Love their costumes! :) I read Gone Girl at the beach this summer and LOVED IT!! It's a mystery/suspense type of book. I downloaded another book by that author and then never had time to read it! Maybe I'll start it tonight. :)
