First Grade and Fabulous is having a Holiday recipe exchange. This is not teacher related but with the holidays fast approaching. I thought I would share my favorite apple pie recipe with you. Every Thanksgiving I make this apple pie. It seriously is the BEST!! I got this recipe from my mother-in-law. My husband craves this pie. In fact last year I took it to Thanksgiving. He snuck my pie out of the main area and hid it in the laundry room. Hoping no one would notice it was gone. That way he could take it home and eat it all himself. :) I found this tutorial on You Tube. It's the same recipe but at the end instead of crumbling the topping I mash it all together and spread it over the top. Either way it tastes the same.
What's your favorite Thanksgiving dish?
Can I just say that... while updating and scrolling down my blog (to where all my followed blogs are listed, along with the title of their latest post), I saw this post about apple pie and immediately and frantically clicked to see what yummy thing you're up to! It's definitely that time of year! (For eating delicious things!) The pie looks great - I've never baked an apple pie, but I think I could actually pull that off!I'll be back to share my stuffing recipe!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Rikki!

Kate,
ReplyDeleteYou could bake this! It's delish! I can't wait to check out your stuffing recipe.
I love apple pie! My mom makes a terrific one, but it is not foolproof, as I have unsuccessfully tried to create hers. I will have to try this one!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
